Here's a typical Santa Barbara bee removal and another example of a small hole (great defensible space), that leads to a larger, dark space that can comfortably house a growing hive of bees. Left unchecked, hives in floor, wall, and attic spaces can grow to over 8 feet long. This hive was relatively young and only had 6 sheets of comb.
