This was a hive that wasn't immense in the size of comb already drawn out, but it was very large as far as the quantity of the number of bees present (possibly some robbing activity). It was tricky to access safely, a primary concern for the Santa Barbara Bee Company, but in the end all the comb and bees were relocated to a Santa Barbara orchard.
